That was pretty cool. It would take up hardly any card space at all if you shot them in minimal size JPG. It might be a good idea to at least have a shot of an index card with "this camera belongs to" your email and phone number on each of your camera cards. If you were afraid of having info stolen, just use "this camera belongs to ,,,name,,, please call the local police station at ,,,,,, town,,,, to return it if found, thank you." Not as funny, but would be a lot better than nothing at all if you actually lose your camera somewhere.
Sometimes the simplest ideas are the best, and this guy had very a good one.

Those would be low-resolutions pictures, probably smaller than a DPC entry. I bet that whole series is under a couple of MB ... |

I have done the same....ok, well not so hilarious...just edited a jpg for contact information as the first photo in the camera.
