Neither. For some reason, if you just look at a photo in a challenge you've commented on, it "resets" the comment, and your check goes away. (That really should be dealt with.) |

I have only done 87 so far but hope do do more later. I have gotten some great pm's from people appreciate of the comments and I to have been quite honest and of course using my view of fine art as the basis. |

Well I for one appreciate the brutal honesty... The gist of your comment to me was that it was a good image but didn't speak Fine art to you... and apparently, it didn't speak it to allot of people because I'm hovering around the 5.3 mark... What I really appreciated about your comment, was the fact that you took the time to tell me WHY it didn't speak to you... That is what really makes the difference, sure, its easy to fire off a bunch of comments that say, "I love/hate it" , but to take the time to tell the person WHY, really makes the difference and helps the photographer... So for every hate mail that you get, I'll give you 10 Thank You's !!! |

Well, at least I finally climbed up out of the threes. This is actually the first challenge in which I haven't really cared about my score. I have gotten a lot of comments and it seems people either like it or hate it and IMHO that means that I have succeeded. I am really happy with this one. I may never be this happy with a 4.xxxx score again. |

I got yours. It was brutally honest, but I appreciate getting feedback from someone who didn't care for it. It's useful to know why you didn't like it. It takes a lot more effort to tell someone what they don't want to hear. I don't agree, however, that's the nature of opinions. My own definition of fine art is a bit different from yours, but I don't consider myself as being very deep.

my image is smack at 5.55
