I'm still chortling over the fact that they had Wayne Gretzky standing in the back of a pickup for a ride downtown to light the cauldron...and of course it was in the rain!! How much are they spending on helicopter fuel so they can transport snow to the runs?

So......I can always grab a shot of a cat, but my wife *HATES* having me shoot her. I snuck this one in, and I like it. This is prolly the first time in a decade that I've gotten a shot of her. She doesn't go here, so I ain't skeert! LOL!!!

I have to agree with you. Jeff Buckley takes you places when he sings it!

Edit to add...every time I hear that song it reminds me of a funny story that I don't really want to tell on here (but I will anyway). It involves, myself and four of my best girlfriends, a room at a hotel with the balcony overlooking the pool (boombox on the balcony and no one else in the pool). Well...one of my friends brought a joint. Now mind you, we all smoked a little in the seventies like everyone else. We are now at this time all in our 40's. But we decided, what the heck, it's gf weekend, lets smoke it! So we did. We put Jeff Buckley on the cd player, crank it up and take our glasses of wine (not allowed in pool area) down to the pool and go for a swim. When Hallelujah comes on, someone decides we ought to try some synchronized swimming. OMG...we laughed so much! Then some guy comes in right in the middle of all this and tells us we can't have wineglasses in the pool area! He was looking at us like we were a bunch of crazies! Now every time I hear that song I have to smile.
