Heading off to Sydney (10-11 hours drive) to get parts for our Toyota Coaster (our retirement project) so I won't be back for a day or two.

Rework of one of the skater images. Standard flip/blend then alternating rotations blended with lighten and darken. |

This one started with a single lensbaby pear on a silver baking sheet, btw.
I think I've missed the part on how people are making spirals. Clue me in?

Basic spiral creation:
Duplicate layer
Rotate layer 10-20 degrees
Scale layer to 80%
merge down
Repeat |

Wow - you guys are doing stuff that's off the charts!! Sorry I lost the bubble on this but with moving and all I kinda didn't keep up. I will have to go back through and see what you've all been up to! Gotta get my voting in for Best of, too, so no promises, but I will try!
Here's one more from me. This little black bird would visit the bush in my front yard every day. He'd sing for us and my cats enjoyed watching him. If he was there when I went out, I'd take a handful of berries off the end of the branches closest to the house and put them on the ground for him (those branches were hard for him to stand on to eat - too long and droopy or some such).
The day I left, after I finished cleaning, apparently a whole flock of something came by and totally decimated the bush of all its berries - all of them. Then proceeded to shit upon the steps such that when the landlord and housing office representative came to do my final inspection, they tracked in recycled berries into my clean kitchen. But I was mostly upset because there would be no more berries for my little blackbird. :-(

Rotating the original, cropping, then rotating some more produces a wave...

Original: V1.
I had scaled the BG into a square for the above version; for these two, I put back some of the original, unscaled BG:
