After a major disaster last entry, I'm hoping for better luck this time. :-)

Sorry to say "I'm out" with three missed weeks in a row -- apologies.

I'll have to mulligan this week. Didn't shoot much and the few are not fit... better say, they are bad...
This is my second, so can't skip no more...

entering hidden treasures! better chance of a higher score!!!
10/06/2009 11:11:51 PM · #430
I have entered a "low-key" under the assumption that a crappy score is better than a mulligan. I'm predicting a 4.0 or lower based on previous winners in this category.

I'm right there with you on this...My idea basically FAILED, but I entered into Low Key anyhow, expecting low, but better than a mulligan...and if it's in my bottom 2 in 9 holes it gets dropped anyhow. =)

I'm in low key as well.

I'm in Hidden Gem - sure to be DNMC'd lol. Someone has to give those DNMC lovers something to do :)

Blech. I'm in for hidden treasures. Didn't have any ideas. Did a last minute shoot that I'm going to get pounded for. The sad thing is that I finally got to a 5.9 average. Well, I got to see it on my profile for a day before it plummets!

Quick -- take a screen-shot! ;-)

bummer, my computer is slow and I missed the deadline, I guess that is what I get. I am out of my own pesudo-side challenge. LOL. Taking a mulligan this week.

I should have taken a mulligan this week...my photot is totally tanking, and totally deserves to!

I think you can afford a few low scores and still be in the lead ;)

Hi VitaminB & jeger,

There's a glitch on my points for hole # 3 - it reads 0... All others seem fine.

Hi Brad,
I noticed two things on the spreadsheet. You have the 4th hole as Into/Out of Frame or Artificial Lighting but I think it should be Low Key/Hidden Treasures. Also in the straight challenge(hole 3) I finished in the 81st percentile not the 91st percentile so I got a couple extra strokes. I think the Course Marshall needs to make a ruling. :-)

Woo hoo!! Someone with NO entries at all is still beating me! (I'm just THAT good!)

Ah yes, I see that now. When I get home from work today I will make the corrections. This should improve your score nicely too (sorry about the mistake).

I appreciate the honesty... Im fighting off a cold and seem to have made a few mistakes this hole... I will make the corrections when I return from work.

Actually, this is a very good point. Now that there are more than two challenges, I think the lowest two should be dropped from the scorebaord on people's final score. Otherwise there could be a major shock for someone at the end when the lowest two are dropped.

So really,
Jomerner is really in the lead with -9

However, ericwoo is not really in second place; he's only at -7 and danculwell is beating him because he as -8

Melethia is not at 8, she's at -1.7

So I do think the spreadsheet should reflect the dropping of the lowest two scores, or people who think they're in the lead could have a nasty surprise at the end.

Damn, that hurts. I took a cool 13 on an easy par 3. +10 to start my round after mulligatawnies on my first two holes. Going to be a looooooong round. :-(
