So I get this book in my mailbox today. Wasnt sure what book it could be and when I opened it up it was this. A while back I had been contacted over a couple of pictures that the author was interested in using. Hadn't heard from them in months so I figured it had gotten passed up. But lo and behold the book arrives today and on page 21 is a full page spread of  . I know it didnt win anything here but it scored a Kodak pic of the day a couple years back. Pretty cool to see my image in a book that I didn't make myself. Noticed a pic by  hahn23 in there as well. Wouldnt be surprised to see other dpcers inthere (though it doesnt look like the author used dpchallenge for his research - which is stunning because I see DPC as being the prime contest site around). Anyone else get their name and image inside? |

Yes, I saw that Tim--Congrats!
I got mine today too. But I was disappointed to see my picture is in one of the tables of contests (at the end) and pretty small. And they got the wrong title too.
Congrats to all in the book though.

I haven't gotten the book yet but I think 2 of my images are in there too! Can't wait to see them =) Congrats guys!

ok just got it in the mail, its a nice book, some great images.
There seems to be quite a few DPCers, just found John White's Comet image -
 on pg 16.

 susi and silverscreen are in it as well. I saw the book at Barnes and Noble a few weeks ago. Got my copy from Lark today.

| Since everybody seems so happy, I take it these images were all properly licensed and not "stolen" ... what a refreshing change ... :-) |

I think if they asked me for a picture it would be used as a sample for the "What not to do"
