Welcome to the "DPC Skinned and Roasted" thread.
Each week, or so, I'll offer a memorable current, or former, DPC participant worthy of basting.
This individual may have touched us in ways that gave us a rash, photos made us wince or a special perspective leaving us awestruck. They are the spice which had spiked the stew and left a unique aftertaste. Consider them the bent piece of bacon at the bottom of the pack, the parsley in your teeth, the ingrown toenail. The unsung anti-heroes deserving of memorable recognition.
We count on them for exhaustive debates, volatile exchanges, extreme misinterpretation of rules, miraculous stunts of lunacy and in some cases, admirable photographic under achievement.
They shall be "Skinned and Roasted" in a manner which will punctuate the zest of their contribution and allow others to enjoy their unique and lingering fragrance.
On the menu this time we'll be serving the following:
 Art Roflmao
and of course, all his wooden friends and super monsters. ;-)
  
Do some research and dig deep. If you have a story, share it. If you have a question for them, ask it. Wanna make a remark? Do it here but keep it tasteful. If you have no taste buds .... figure it out.
Get out the Tabasco, belly up to the picnic table and start roasting!!
BTW: For reference, here are the leftovers from the previous roast: Reheat before serving.
BWAHAHAHHAA: I forgot to delete Slippy during the cut and paste. Ooops

Art was the reason I joined DPC ! He's the first person I put in my favourite photographer's list too.

I think the SC are having their revenge by not fixing the thread title, which nobody is opening because they think they've already opened it. And/Or, they are enemies of Slippy. :-O

Just came back to this thread and see they Admins fixed the thread title. Thanks for that and I'll be more careful next time. Now onto better things;
Ken, or "Art" as we know him ..... is an alien. He is the last remaining element of an extraterrestrial race that spawned uber foes like Godzilla and Barney the dinosaur. It is clear, he is the "next generation" version adapting to our mannerisms and cleverly formulating obscure alien messages through subtle imagery. Though he seems harmless, I strongly urge vigilance at the chance you may be surprised with an unexpected Woody ............. with flames coming out of the head.
I'm scared and should not have opened my mouth for fear of "firm" reprisal.
Nuff said!

| Ken is singlehandedly responsible for the decline of good taste and destruction of fine art photography on DPChallenge. He also ruined my own site average by making me think I could get away with entering giant lizards into challenges. Then he refused to vote on those entries of mine, because he thought they were his. The nerve. |

Oh. I did not mean to say that I think this is a bad practice... this 'roasting' of folks. To the contrary, I enjoy it. I'm just not good at saying bad stuff. LOL!

I just want to clarify that none of those lyrics specifically meant YOU. Ok? I didn't think about that when I quoted. lol. I only quoted because you said "like my mommy said.." and that sent me off.
ETA: I don't think that you don't have a sense of humor. That's reserved for, er, other elements of this site.
