when i'm teaching reading to students that struggle, one of my suggestions is to replace names with something more familiar to them. "Gulliver" becomes "Gus," etc. This way they don't have to struggle to get the name, blah blah blah.

For that reason, this young man's name becomes "Da boarder guy" to me. :)


That's funny! That's exactly what I read when I see the name!

if anyone has access to a model who will dress up as a dominatrix, i demand they shoot my username.

i would, but a) its agasint the rules and b) there is no freaking way any of my friends would cooperate and do it

My idea for Strikeslip is a special ops team led by Chuck Norris, who bungles the operation when he steps on a banana peel. Since I don't have access to special ops team led by Chuck Norris, I may have to do that dominatrix idea.

I find blindfolded keyboard-voting quite cumbersome. There should be a jingle or something to tell you when you have finished.
