Hey! Don't do that. Can you imagine the contrast of the brown ribbon on ZenI and a blue on ZenII? You must try.
Go to a quiet place and sit still. Let you mind wander and become empty. After a while ideas will seep into your mind. This is an opportunity that you simply can't let slide by. And heck, even if you get the brown again you'll join an elite group of photographers that definitely have a following.

Sounds like an interesting challenge. I'm probably in for another 4, though. I keep telling myself I am going to take a break from entering voted challenges, but then topics come up that interest me.

Blue ribbon = unattainable for me. Never going to happen. And I am trying to stay away from getting browns now, trying to keep my high 5 / low 6 streak going if not improving.

I feel a zen moment coming on!

If the weather improves anyway!! Although I just had another zen idea as I wrote that using the exact weather conditions outside at the mo. work needs to hurry up and finish now..

I just ran across this introduction to what Zen is. If Roz was lacking an idea for this challenge, I offer this one as being appropriate.

just don't read the description. It wasn't written by a Zen master, I can tell that much.

For goodness sake, don't do research on this one. Last time, I did, and managed to attain the heights of 303rd place.

I patterned this shot using the concept of Zen Photographer John Daido Loori whose work is just splendid. Unforunately for me, my interpretation of the concept didn't resonate with our voting community.
The old link doesn't go directly to his work anymore, but I was inspired by his Art in Nature series.

LOL, posthumous, yes, almost enough. This time, I hope to attain even higher heights of enlightment. Perhaps even coming in 60th out of 67. And definitely with your Zen Seal.
:-))

"Zen" does not mean "brain dead". It can be a dynamic image, with the energy of life. Just a comment of relevance to the challenge. If I'm contemplating the meaning of life, I'd like to visualize "life".
