Agreed and THANKS to all who participated.
I'll pencil us in for September and do a call around then.
Anyone got an idea for June. Although I'm currently a sporadic participant in side challenges I very much like being a part of them.
It will be winter down here in June and I'll need to find a reason to photograph - how about 'Where I Live for June?' It could be in the house or around the area? |

Next time there is an overlay side, I'll make sure it's the only one I'm in. Trying to do 3 at once has been overwhelming! LOL! I can't promise that I'll comment on all the images here, but I will be going back through and catching up on more comments. |

I'm for both of the above. I love my overlays, but I like to do plain old pictures, too. Count me in for the regroup of the overlays. I want it all.
Here's a link to Joe Reifer's Blog. He's walking every street in Albany, California. Before that he did every street in Berkeley and Walking All Of Geary Street among others. That might give some ideas for your own neighborhood. Might also be a good idea for a photo book... hmmmm.

This side challenge has been the best of the best! Definitely sign me up again for September. Not sure about June yet; both "where I live" and "fade to black" sound great, but I'd probably be sporadic. |

I will be signing on to the next Overlay side challenge, anytime it comes up again, & collecting textures in the mean time. Many thanks to the people who posted theirs, so we could try them out. "D
I'm in Fade to Black. I live in suburbia, so I can't imagine how I'd get anything interesting out of walking my street, which I do with the dog twice a day. I'll take a careful look, next time.

Thank you ALL for coming along to this side challenge - see side challenges as the Sweet Spot of DPC and you guys have certainly sweetened my May 2009 AND helped my mojo eek it's way back.

Thanks everyone for such an enjoyable side challenge, and I have totally fallen off the bandwagon with commenting and entering, as I've been side tracked with the arrival of a baby in the family. I've been busy adjusting to 'Grandmother' status.
I have made time to keep, visiting this thread and continue to be inspired by some of the amazing images, that have been produced, by some extremely talented people. Bravo! |
