The images should be of part of a car (ie a rear light cluster, an engine part, a tyre's tread) but should not be of the complete vehicle.

As long as I don't need to know the name of the part I'm shooting, I think it's a good idea.

I'm all for it. Metallics are one of the most difficult niches in photography. The reflection can turn the camera back on you like a mirror in ways you'd least expect.

Cars arent just for men! I love em and the different parts with shiny chrome! These 2 were just finished painted last month!
