Am in somewhat of a photography block regarding this month's FS. Everything I've shot this month has either been entered into a challenge or carp, any suggestions for a 6+ Lensababy shot? Am in a year long LB SC with Bear_Music so it has to be a lensbaby).

This is going to be no help at all--but here's your challenge. Take a lensbaby shot that changes my mind about lensbabies. (sorry guys, they really don't do much for me...)

but here's your chance! Impress me!

Would a shot of vawendy getting hit over the head with a lensbaby score 6+?

Fair comment Wendy and tbh there was a run of LB images here when it first came out and I hated them with a passion. I'm a little older (and maybe wiser) now thinking more about the image/impact than the oft fluffiness deemed the norm here at dpc. So, what floats your boat Wendy and I'll try to impress ;)

Do you like house? I can't see the resemblance myself but the commenters could ;)

hehe, I knew that would make me suddenly unpopular--(or more unpopular!)

but think of it, if I liked the shot, you'd probably score a 7.9! (or maybe a 2?)

that's definitely close, but the eye out of focus is a little strange. I'd like it better with his right eye in focus and a shallow depth of field... sorry. but that's definitely the closest so far!

wouldn't that kind of narrow down who you are in the challenge though? ;)

I very much doubt you could become unpopular Wendy and if I had the choice would most likely go for the 7.9 option ;)

I'm a sad old man living alone so am my only 'model' but yes, I must stop shooting myself or actually shoot myself!

Focussing with the LB ain't easy, especially if you are the subject and fotog lol. However, in this shot I actually like the oof eyes and think it adds to the title?

It is very interesting. And I do think it was quite underrated. The lighting is wonderful and I like the intensity in the eyes, but it loses a little something with the loss of focus.
