Finished voting a while ago and I think I've done all the bumping I'm going to do:

Yes, there are a number of 3 votes in there. No, I haven't commented on any of them and no, I'm not planning to because:
a) I don't want to inadvertently offend by declaring my personal opinion about the work.
b) I don't want to receive an angry or disguised sarcastic/condescending PM about my comment.
c) I don't always know how to express my opinion on why I don't like the work.
d) I no longer feel the slightest bit obligated to do so because of b)
So there, nothing too sinister about why I don't comment, lol. I would just like to avoid confrontation from now on, if that's ok? :) |

It's certainly possible that a title can take away from the presentation of a photo (as well as enhance at times also). As to the baghead part of this...if you had known who it is I'd wager that you'd have PM'd that person already, eh? :-) |
Nah probably not. I hardly PM during voting. I've only done it two or three times and its was when I thought someones comments were just waaaaayyyyy off.
My title here shouldn't hurt the photo...it's not like it was an artistic thoughtful title. The title was exactly what the subject was. I'll post afterwards to see if people can elaborate how the title could hurt the photo. |

That vote/comment ratio looks very good for you, hopefully it keeps rising. I believe that ratio is one of the best indicators where a photo will end up. |

The Law of Conservation of Scores :-)
Sorta like the Conservation of Mass--I HATE that one: every time someone in the world loses a pound, I gain it.
I also believe there is a corollary: The Law of Conservation Of Hair. I think it is a zero sum game--there is only so much hair to go around, so some of us hafta lose ours so that others may have Too Damn Much Hair.
Not that I am sensitive on this topic. Not Me. No Way.
