Hey now, I do the best I can with the meager talent I have! Don't be all passive aggressive in dissing my pictures :P
I don't often get time to vote (I'm not into speed-voting), so I rarely see images outside of Team Suck results. I did get through the Animals in Motion, and there are a lot of fantastic shots there. Some challenges bring out the best, I guess. |
Darn, if I can't be passive aggressive, I have no talent left :( |

Do what I do Deb. I don't look at my score till the end. I still know that I'm sucking but I just don't know how bad. The other good thing about that is you don't have to feel crappy everytime you push the update button. I just look at it at the end and then try to put it out of my mind. If I accidentally get a decent score, then I can sit and marvel at it for a while and then put it out of my mind. |

| I have scores off again. Normally I do that. Don't know what possessed me to turn them on recently. But that stupid moving average bit on the profile is usually a pretty good giveaway as it drops and drops... Still, I really just probably need one of my periodic breaks. Or a vacation. And hey, I have a plane ticket and hotel reservations and five days in Amsterdam. I think that'll be a nice break. :-) |

| Ok, I have been fairly prolific this month, and have narrowed it down to 12 possibles for the FS - anyone about who could help me narrow down further? |

I know what you mean! I've been a bit discouraged by scores lately too. It seems no matter what I do I can't get out of the 4's. My tree is at 5.3 though. My not quite right came in at a 4.3 and I don't have a clue why. My only commenter said it was a "great shot" yet gave me a 4. Is it me, or are scores in general just really low unless it's some "wow" image. I think 1 through 4 are the most hit buttons in voting anymore. |
I think 5.5 is the new 6. |

I entered FS with a shot I meant to enter in another challenge. However, as I only had PS Elements to play with while out in BC, I wasn't able to crunch the pic down to size in terms of kb, so I PSed it today. Of course I would like to see it do well but I am a Team Sucker, not a dreamer!
 BeeCee and I had a great time shooting most of Monday; got shots of all kinds of cool things and dear Sheila spent an absurd amount of time driving us around. I had to force her to take $$ for gas! :-)
Now, all I have to do is find the time to PS the pix I took and post em...
btw Max, the walls of my dungeon err, guestroom are a really gawdawful shade of yellowy-green, so I'm going to give the soundproofed walls a nice coat or two of Apricot Cream, to make your stay more enjoyable. ;-)
Finally a little quote that I saw on a sign outside a tiny school on SSI: Whether you think you can, or think you can't - you're right.

Well after a long editing session I'm finally in the Free Study and I'll most likely back down to suck level soon :) I won't lie, it sure was nice to finish in the top 10 again and with a chance shot of our son, even better :)
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM I love apricots Susan, thank you. I should have the date I'll be there tomorrow but he told me he'd let me know yesterday as well so I'm not holding my breath just yet.
I'm really looking forward to a nice relaxing stay in your Castle, I'm packing as we speak. Truth be told, because we could be called away at anytime to film anywhere I always have a bag ready to go.

Must be something with the order served - my first page of thumbs has only a handful of landscapes on it - surprisingly few. So keep at it - you'll find there are a lot more options! |

| I've turned off my scores, but they were sitting at something like 6.2 for animals, 5.4 for trees, and 4.8 for FS. |
