and I really wonder what on earth a title has to do with a photo being good or bad. Do we hang titles on our walls?

Hahahahahaaaa I now remeber why I slowed down my challenge entering....

Last two comments:

1. DNMC - No motion here, just blur...lots of it.

2. Really GREAT job of showing motion.

I've done the same thing. On mine I also have a graph of average score ve number of votes, and I overlay successive challenges onto the same graph. It's quite interesting to see how they compare from challenge to challenge.

LOL same here. I haven't entered a contest for 3 years or so and I see that nothing has changed since then.
I actually do believe that a lot of voters don't really know what abstract (combined with motion) is.

I actually look forward to, and enjoy, receiving conflicting comments. It reminds me of the need to take all opinions with a grain of salt, because they are just opinions. If I agree with the critique, or several people make the same observation, then there is probably something to it. One has to interpret it all and take it in context.

I'm still betting there aprox. ten 6+ that are holding out on this thread. I'm interested to see the scores of the top ten tonight however. If I recall, the Lucky and Unlucky challenges were low scoring too.
