Sony 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 E-mount

As I have mentioned in this thread and this thread I have a daughter going to canada for Girl Guides.
As a family we have to raise approx $6000 - $7000 NZD to pay for this.
I would like to set up a blog to communicate with our friends, family and supporters about all aspects of our fundraising.
I havent really had much experience with Blogs but can see the potential in our situation!
I would love it if someone could hold my hand and help me set up an easy to read nice looking blog.
Also if anyone can point me to what they believe are great blogs as examples that would be great too :)

I'd go Wordpress.com ahead of Blogger.

I have an example of each. These are personal blogs. Either of them are easy to use for a novice.

Wordpress (mine, hosted on my site): Jojo's photo blog

Blogger (set up for school): Crazy blog

ETA: Go testdrive them both and decide which one you like. These were both set up very simply as I have little to NO html expertise ;)

Wordpress is 'better' than blogger in a lot of ways but it might not be so easy to setup for someone who may not have the experience in doing that... I use wordpress, but I don't recommend it to many people who haven't had any experience in setting up an application like that.

I didn't find a lot of difference between them. Blogger is probably easier for someone just starting out with a blog though. You'll like blogger! They have a lot of neat gadgets and a lot of different layouts to choose from.
