I've been rudely interrupted from commenting right now because my internet has decided to go tails up on me intermittently. It's like I'm on dial-up right now, so I'm waiting for it to recover.
However, I'm commenting consecutively, so this time, even un-me-commentable images will get a comment. Just depends on if you come for me before the end of the voting/commenting period is over, and how many I get to in that time. So you have a better chance than usual! hehe. |

I enjoyed Joe vs. The Volcano, but my favorite all time quirky weird movie is Death to Smoochy.

| I got to be honest, I am a little bummed out. I thougnt that I would score much better than where I am. At a 5.8xxxxxx. I don't mean to complain but I seriously thought that after 4-5 comments and all of them scoring it a 10 I would be higher. |

This has been and continues to be a great and enjoyable journey looking through everyone's entries. There are visions and views from all over the world. Stunning images, some symbolic imagery, some thought provoking images, some fun or emotive images, etc. etc.

Yah, there's absolutely no way of knowing what vote came with a comment. You could be simultaneously getting 4 or 5 votes as that comment was clicked. |

that happened to me in the last challenge i entered ..
i got the best comment and i worked out that i got a score of 1 ..
it made me so mad that i sent a pm saying i couldnt understand why they would say something so nice and then give me the lowest mark ..
it turned out that the person had given out her scores and then come back the next day and given comments .. it was extremely bad timing that i'd updated less than a minute before and then updated again and i only had one more vote and her comment ..
sc actually checked and told me that she had indeed given me a very good score .
so i'll never assume that a comment goes with a score again ..
it was a great learning experience .. :)

And yeah, I know it's possible they didn't go together, but just going on the commenter's past voting history I suspect they did go together :) But hey, I'm not upset about it, just got a chuckle :D

People have been busy! I just got home from work and I already have more votes and comments than my entry in the "100 years Old" Challenge. I hoped the score might be higher but compared to all the other entries, not surprising. Not enough bright colors. But that is OK. My intent was to try to have something a bit different from everything else and I think I acomplished that. I am enjoying the comments I have received- thank you to all the commentors! I need to get started leaving some of my own now.

Wow, I've voted really high on this challenge and my score's a 4.9.. I expected it to be low, having gone with something personal and emotive, but this really just reaffirms how totally different my taste is from DPC. (Not to say it's a 10 or anything - I was expecting a 5 something.) I have yet to encounter anything I thought deserving of less than a 4 or 5 (I'm at 49% rated right now), with most a six or over. I hope people are not comparison rating instead of judging each individual photo's merit by the standards of its genre (for lack of a better word)... since there are so many different types of shots in this challenge. It'd be kind of easy to do that.
