here's a couple :) .. since they are the only 'wildlife' around here, I have shot a fair #. They always have personality, which is a plus!

Not a great shot, but the only squirrel shot I've taken recently...

Both taken before I knew digital zoom was evil and would lead to world meltdown. Also not looked at in since long before I new how to PS. Both look better than I would've expected after originally taking them!

My photo is nowhere near as good as the ones from the dSLRs.

I managed to fire off a bunch of pretty good shots of this guy but they were all kinda similar. I was sitting just inside my house with the sliding glass door open, shooting him on the balcony railing. I started making loud noises and kissing sounds to see if he'd look at me or something, and he did both. He stared (you can see his eyes are open pretty wide in the first one- I think he was a bit surprised to hear such noises out of me), then he started doing.... something weird. Whipping his tail back and forth and moving like he was going to leap!! I thought death by squirrel attack would not be much fun, so closed the door and shut off the camera.

Somehow I feel strangely inadequate that I have no squirrels to share ... Should this be a staple in every photographers portfolio? Hmmmm, who knew? :)~

Squirrels are actually very entertaining to watch. They also become quite tame in suburban environments if you feed them and don't 'do battle' with them to keep them off your bird feeders :) I gave up on that a long time ago and decided that they 'whipped' me and they are far superior to me intellectually.
