I know this may not be "life in the country" but it is my life in the country. I have not had time to do anything this week but take basketball shots because of state tournaments. This photo made the front of the sports section of our local paper. the web site for the paper is thesouthreporter.com
Sorry for another basketball shot I hope to get out more in the next week.

PEOPLE
I was a little late last week, so "on time" came pretty quick this week. I would so be in Heaven if I could just walk around my whole life in crowds of people, and find subjects that were so different from me to talk to and bond with while I photographed them.

I know it's an odd-looking thumbnail...the larger image works a little better, although still not as much impact as I'd hoped. Suggestions for ways I could improve this shot are welcome.

And here's an extra little one just for fun. Sulamk posted a beautiful specimen of a prinia a few weeks back. This is a young one, who doesn't seem to be above a good scratch in public! (I suppose he thinks it's his garden and he can do what he wants in it :)

Something a little different and a bit more obvious this week. This was inspired by something similar I saw on the wall of an office on a TV show. Yes, I know, I was paying more attention to the background photos than the show itself.
