Looks like that person just went through the Free Study VIII (Mar 22, 05-Apr 18, 05) and had a hayday downloading all the picks they liked. |

Looking at his profile:
"I am curious and energetic individual, always delving into new areas. I am forthcoming and direct and generally don't have hidden agendas or ulterior motives."
No hidden agendas eh? :D |

Flickr has a link on their home page (//www.flickr.com/ fine print at the very bottom right) that you may use to report abuse, including violations of their Terms of Service. Thier Terms of Service document specifically prohibits account holders from using Flickr to "upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any Content that you do not have a right to make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as inside information, proprietary and confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under nondisclosure agreements);upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any Content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights ("Rights") of any party;...".
Reporting directly to the body that has the ability to act may be useful, in addition to posting comments here. Yahoo/Flickr attempts to completely disown any responsibility for what account holders post. But the deep pockets know they might end up with some liability for damages if they don't enforce their Terms of Service. |

Same here, the photo is old and not really my best for sure. But still!
Could someone give me an example of what this sort of statement should look like? This is from Yahoo/Copyright Infringement group asking for more information.

If one of my images were stolen (ROFL) I would include a link to either my profile here or a link to the archives here that included any or all images in question. That should be enough evidence for them. In this case since many of the images came from one location (DPC Archives) there could be no doubt that the individual had pirated those images. |

"I am the copyright holder on this image, and I have not authorized its use by (name) on (site)." ought to suffice.

More specific instructions from Flickr:
"Issues of infringement are handled for us by the specialists within the Yahoo! Copyright Team. The copyright holder must file a Notice of Infringement (NOI) with them. To find the appropriate filing method, please click on the "Copyright"
link that's available in the footer of every page."
Looks like Martin (MWitt) already is going down that path. Thought others might want to know.
