I have a few shots that I took a while back that I'd like to post. I wish I could go out to shoot now, but it's much too cold here to be out more than a minute or two!

as it only got to about 35C today i hit the beach :)

shot some Gulls and Pelicans

was told this was some type of Gull it was so much larger than the others about

yesterday afternoon as the day cooled from about 43C i heard a racket in our apple tree
for some reason i had my camera with me {ok i thought they had to be birds}
i didnt expect to see this colorful animal tho
i wish the tree wasnt so full and had a clearer angle to him

I'm pretty sure these're cormorants; don't know what subspecies.

I've found out that they are double crested cormorants.
