everything about this image is perfect
detail ashrpness and wonderful colors the eye really pops
btw is that a butterfly in the background? |

| You processed this one nicely. Even with noise reduction there is tons of detail and a definite "don't mess with me" expression (even if he was just digesting). Ferns point to him nicely, too. |

You were very fortunate to find this one on the ground, and that it didn't fly before you got some photos. This one looks darker on top than most of the hawks that I am used to seeing.
Good shot. Composition and focus is just right. I like the ferns in the BG. |
