Does anyone like that idea? You can use any editing method, lensbaby, blur, cats, dogs, your kids, flowers. Just make sure it is a diptych. Here is an example.

| Is that a diptych because each "half" is a composed photo itself? A single photo that has two composition areas? |

It can be done with a single photo like Judy has in her example, it is more commonly done with two seperate photos. They can be related or totally unrelated, but either way they usually have some kind of unifying bond. It's really all up to your creativity, but two panes is the controlling factor.

| Oh good, I see we have some willing participants. I'll make a list when we have more people, and if more don't sign up, that's ok too. You can do whatever you want. You could have taken them awhile ago, yesterday, last week. It doesn't matter. I sometimes find older shots and re-edit them to make them fresh. Tell your friends and neighbors!! Diptychs is a February kinda thing. :~) |

how incredibly weird ..
i noticed this pic in new fotos from friends and went to this brilliant horse triptych in flickr .. thought it was brilliant .. made a comment and then noticed another email had come in while i was in flickr ..
talk about timing .. it was your invite to this thread ..
i was hoping someone would come up with something for february .. its a great idea judy and yes, count me in .. :)
