ok, this might be a non starter for me as this year I'll mainly be using my Lensbaby Composer but thought it would be fun to have a head to head with peeps using the same lens, with a little twist.
Your task (should you decide to accept it) is to pick one of your lenses, then find someone who owns the same lens and challenge them to a head to head in a future challenge.
Just pm your opponent directing them here then call them out with your challenge lens and future challenge date. No forfeits as yet, but happy for individuals to have their own ;)
I'll start (cos its easy) and challenge Robt Bear_Music to a LB shot in the January FS. |

I think this is a fantastic idea. I accept the challenge of anyone with a Lensbaby Composer. Just name the challenge and I'm in.

I like this idea too. Anyone using the Sigma 70-200 f2.8 EX? Let me know and we will work out the details! |

You're on. Congrats on the win :-) My image is already in, and it's "personal", so I expect one of your brilliant, misty/emotive shots is gonna hammer me. But maybe the voters will surprise me :-)

Hey, Jeff - I'll take you on with the Composer in "Sound". Probably easier to denote "Silence" with a Lensbaby, but Composer and Sound seem like a good match. No guarantee I'll get anything challenge-worthy, but I'll give it a shot! (Or several hundred, as tends to be the case with shooting with the Lensbaby.) |

What is that? Some kind of sexist statement? You are such a pig. I bet your kids are proud of you... Pig.

Given how my Ansel Adams II entry is doing, might not be around for round 2 of the knock-out touney.
I love this head-to-head stuff. Anybody that wants "duel" me, just take a look at my profile to see my lenses and send me a pm or something.

I'm gone already from the head to head, so I will challenge you in the Freestudy with the 24-105mm f/4l. You up for it? |

Actually, I just realized, I think that I already have me FS entry for this month, and I shot it with my 70-200.
Sorry. Maybe we can argee on something else?
edit to recant on the FS with 24-105.

well, we have a few peeps playing and whilst this was designed to be a loose format (ie, you get to choose your own opponents and keep score cos I'm lazy) it has given me an idea about a format I might try in February, just need to check up on a couple of things).
May the best lens win ;) |

I challenge nobody to a showdown with the Pentax DA 18-55mm f/3-5.6 kit lens in a challenge of his choosing.
May nobody win! |

Anyone on for a head to head in the next 'candid street photography' challenge?

Oh dear. And I have yet another dull, gray, dreary, and possibly wet weekend coming up.... What have I got myself into? I shall be thinking... |

I just got this lens with my new camera so I am sure I will be easy pickings. I will be in Silence and Single Tree if someone needs a 24-105 head to head...
