I thought about doing landscapes for my 2009 photo-a-week, but ultimately decided that it would be too ambitious to take a decent landscape photograph each week due to time (finishing my degree this year), weather (rains for weeks on end in the winter) and financial (petrol) constraints. I will instead be doing a monthly landscape project.

 The "rules":

~ Take a landscape photograph each month.
~ Landscape is loosely defined, ie. landscapes, waterscape, seascapes, cityscapes, etc...
~ Each photograph should be taken in a different location (if possible - if not possible try a different vantage point at the same location).
~ Advanced editing, 800x800 maximum image dimensions.
~ Include as much information about the image as possible, ie. location (GPS coordinates are best), equipment used and post processing.
~ Have as much fun as possible :)

Why on earth? I was actually thinking the exact opposite, for myself ΓΆ€” that this would be a good "opportunity" to shoot the same view 12 times, and show the passage of the seasons...

In any case, I probably would participate in this one :-)

You could, either way is fine. Could also make a collection to keep all your images in one place.

Sounds like an idea for another side challenge :)
I just felt that this is a good opportunity to find new locations to take photos at. I (and I'm sure others) have a tendency to go back to the same locations too often. Another idea I had for this was to use the 12 images for a 2010 calendar. |

I'll pass on it then, thanx. I tend to work the same locations over and over because they are very close to my house, I don't get very far afield most of the time.
