I wonder if my building will allow me to have a rhino and what the deposit would be.
I'll just show them your photos of how docile they can be. I'll probably leave out the 4th one, though I'm sure that hole in the wall was already there. Poor little rhino probably gets blamed for everything that is broken. |

To be honest the deposit can be pretty big . . you might need a shovel

You seem to imply in your comments that these pets are to be had in different sizes. Just wondering what size I should get for my 2 acre plot.

Two acres - definately a full size one, if you just want one as a companion or to sleep on the end of your bed, it's best to go for a House Rhino - specially bred to be small and docile . .
At least in my fevered imagination they are : )

Much obliged. Looking for one to keep the deer from destroying the garden. We had a dog but she was no good at it, just wanted to sleep IN the bed and hog the pillows. You wouldn't want to part with the church warden perhaps?

I think the Church Warden would be an excellent choice for your needs - once the deer are better trained we might be able to help you scale down to a House Rhino . .

Oh dear. The thought of scaling down the Church Warden (sorry I omitted the caps in my earlier post) to a house rhino makes me wonder just a little about the ethics of your perspectival transformations. It might be better to do the scaling in stages: once the garden is secured I think a Great Dane sized rhino would be appropriate for taking the gardener on long walks, and then when the long walks become too much for the aging gardener, maybe a lap rhino. I realize that this will require great vision as well as perspective, not to mention great delicacy of manipulation.

Fun stuff. I forwarded a link to a coworker of mine who collects rhinos (Not real ones) and might enjoy these.
