I got the snow but not the White! Nice lens! I'm sure with your style of photography you'll put it to good use.

But I do have my Nikon 80-400.

nothing digital, lol...I got a Holga 120N film camera and a Lomography Fisheye 2 35mm. They will be fun to use in my film classes. I also got 4 rolls of film (2 35mm, 2 120s). I'm also pretty sure that I'm going to get Lightroom 2.0 as well because my mom said something about another gift coming in the mail and my stepdad let it slip that it was software...plus it was on my list, so fingers crossed! I really hope I get it because that's what I've been learning to use in my digital class and once I come home I can't work on anything further until the next week.

But even awesomer, I got myself a real live Holga! My foray into medium-format toy photography begins!

I got a Canon 16-35mm f/2.8L

Well, rented it for a shoot yesterday that they bailed out on at the last minute and now get
to return it on Friday to the tune of $30 for the pleasure of being able to hold it for the day.
*mumble*
Oh well, was better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it....

I did actually only get one thing this year and came a couple of days ago.
It is a Thank You card from the Grandson of one of my customers. His Grandpa brought me a tire off his bicycle
that had a small puncture from a rose thorn (was actually two punctures) I plugged the tire and per my
usual, laughed at his offer to pay me. The payment came in the mail a few days ago:

Absolutely priceless.

Hey - another 'Christmas blend' fan ! I love the stuff and am just trying to grab some bags to stock up before it disappears again. . . warm cinnamon folls should be perfect with that :- )

some shots using it:

she also bought me a pair of lights which are fantastic, I was totally surprised ... can't wait to turn the spare room into a studio :)

The grid converter is very cool. How long are the straws, about 3 inches or so?

I got a wireless remote...totally cool cause I got tired of running back and forth to the camera when the wife and I are doing pictures...get your head out of the gutter, not those types of pictures, ya perv. (by the way, I have two triggers for an old canon if anyone wants them. They are the type that screws in and you press the top down to take the picture. Both work really well but I have no use for them and they came with some other free gear...actually all the old canon 35mm gear can go to someone...pm me)

I also got a "lally Cap" . I've only tried it inside so far and it really takes a lot of red out, not sure if that is a good thing or not, still playing with it.

I got a new set of (3) stobes, a wireless remote, set of gels, reflectors, two umbrellas, a soft box, three stands...and a partridge in a pear tree! Happy Holidays All!

Not quite that long, the straws are about 1.5 inches and the whole thing about 3 inches.

I believe you can vary the "spot" by having different length straws

I bought myself a 24-70 lens in November and called it my hubby's present to me. Does that count?
