 This is Hazels pop up advent calendar .... her mum still sends her one every year even though she's in her 30's :)

As you open the doors there are decorations to put on the tree and presents to go under it :)

This is virtually straight out of the camera. Hazel made me a grid converter for my speedlight flash from some cardboard and straws, it gives that spot light effect which is really cool :)

yes, there is virtually no editing on this, the straws create a spot light effect .... I'll post a couple more shots tomorrow :)

great shot and i'm intrigued by the 'grid converter made from cardboard & straws' .. i use a plastic diffuser fitted over my speedlight to soften the flash .. did the straws create the vignette ?..:)
