I am pleased to see that everyone is doing okay. Thankyou to all that got entries in this week. I know that Brat wasn't able to submit due to other commitments...but she did notify me of this ahead of time. Thankyou Brat.

I'm in too. After a couple of rejected ideas and tries, I happy with this one (which usually means it will bomb!)

Hi Guys! Sorry I missed last week, first one in two rounds of Olympics, so I hope you forgive me, but just every now and then life gets in the way!
I've just put one in Motion Blur....a bit of a first for me to be this early! Good Luck everyone!

I'm in Motion Blur too... though I have 4 others that were candidates, and I might change my entry tomorrow... but I've definitely got AN entry in. Here's hoping it doesn't bomb like every other photo I've taken recently.

I've just deposited an entry into the "Money" challenge. Hoping to get some interest and great dividends back from it!!!

Hope the money market makes a turn for the better this week then :)

Hi all. Hope everyone is a bit happier with their score. Good luck for the Money and Motion blur entries.

Hi everyone,
Lodged my entry for motion blur... Maybe I should just apologise now and get it over with!

As you can probably tell I'm very unsure about this one and was debating whether to upload it or not but maybe others will have a different opinion. Fingers crossed!

Good luck....I know that with this type of challenge it is very hard to tell what will be considered suitable.

Thanks toddster. Wouldn't worry about the low score, its not for sheep stations and at least you back in the game now.
Happy snapping
Tony

Sorry guys, as suspected I didn't get an entry in this week for motion blur or money. Internet access at the caravan park was dicey at best.

Anyone else struggling with smoke and mirrors? I had a firm idea of what I wanted to achieve, and now that I've failed at that, I just don't know...

Hope you had a good holiday.
Man I thought smoke and mirrors would be easy, no such luck, I have a couple of shots I may go with but I'm far from happy.

I just bought some incense and will be taking my smoke photos this evening.

Tried smoke.....no luck so I attempted mirror and have an entry that I'm quite pleased about...but it's up to the voters. My money entry is doing alright..nothing spectacular, though!

Well I'm in for smoke. Happy enough with it technically, but my entry is far from original :)

Just uploaded my smoke photo... another lower than average submission I fear. :(

I've got an entry in mirrors, I didn't really end up with anything I wanted (creative drought), and am a little uncomfortable about the one I've put in (can't really say why it would give it away) but my wife likes it, not that that's ever been an indicator of success.

Other question, some of you have used DCPrints, I notice my current "motion" challenge entry has marked 1 wish list. With my current 5MP camera is it worth putting the picture up on DCPrints or will the quality just be rubbish (its about 1800x1800 with the crop)?

You could try uploading a version to DPCPrints and see if it gets passed.

Good luck with everyones entries...we may have a full house!

I can't speak for myself last week, but I think we're doing as well as we are just by consistency (and the QLDers a couple of weeks ago helped just a bit!).
I'm really proud that we're working so well as a team, unlike some of the other guys who have gone MIA and teams are scrambling to fill positions.

Well done everyone. We still have time to win! :)

Finally got my entry in. Decided to go with mirrors and as has become a tradition lately for me I've got half an hour before change over... Message to self don't leave things till the last minute.

Really don't know how I will go with this one, it really depends how strict the voters are on the actual wording of the challenge, so fingers crossed.

Good luck everyone.
