Managed to jump in leaps and bounds to 4.54. At least I seem to be heading in the right direction so far.

Yeah, I'm heading in the right direction too. 5.1316 now after 38 votes. I really think my entry is worth 5.5, so we'll see how the week pans out.

Guys, I'm really sorry, but I didn't get my entry in time. My fault entirely, time just sliped away and it was one of those days where the phone didn't stop ringing and the doorbell kept ringing etc. Not making excuses I should have had it uploaded heaps of time before. So please accept my sincere apologies. I'll try to do my very best with Colour Portrait 3....actually doing it tomorrow.
Good luck to everyone with their entries.
Fully understand. Life happens! Don't stress about it, it's a long 12 week competition.

Well, with my bummer floundering, I've submitted to Pajamas. Can't believe I'm doing this....

I have entered Studio Portrait...let's hope it goes okay.

Still tossing up which way to go. I would like to do a Studio Portrait but I imagine there will be a lot of stiff competition from the more experienced portrait photogs at dp challenge, on the other hand coming up with something a bit creative for Pajamas might be a bit of a challenge as well.

Well I'm looking at a personal low for bummer! Bummer! :D I've submitted an entry into the PJ challenge, so let's hope it fares a little better!

Took some really lovely photos for studio colour portrait, but when I loaded them on my computer there were stray hairs over eyes and nose.....grr.....doing them again tomorrow.

Hmm... after submission I re-read the challenge description for PJs. I'm worried now that mine will be DNMC because the PJs are not the central subject. They are integral to the image though (ie. the message of the image wouldn't work with out them). Arghh!! Now I don't know whether to re-shoot.

I just attempted a re-shoot, but I'm pulling my hair out!
Judi, I just PM'ed you. I hope you can help!!

Okay folks....just a bit of advice for you all.

You are allowed to ask opinions of others on your images...but under no circumstances do I want you to vote on any images that you may recognise as your teamies. Although it is allowed....it is frowned upon as one cannot be truly sure whether your are voting with a biased opinion on the image.

In, the meantime, if you are unsure about which entry to enter, please feel free to ask for opinions. If you are unsure if your image is legal, then contact SC as early as possible.

Thanks Judi :) I appreciate your help. No probs with legality, though I might submit for validation in advance :).

Having said that, I had a look at some of the other photos I did and now I'm not sure which one to pick. I've got three to choose from.....anyone care to help me choose....of course you won be able to vote on these if you see them.
Thanks!

Thanks for looking, Judi. In the end I re-did one of the photos and am now happy with my selection.
Good luck everyone

We'll just have to come from last place to win this thing, just like Steve Bradbury did at the 2002 Winter Olympics... now just how do we get everyone ahead of us to fall down?

My PJ entry is doing better than my last one... though that isn't saying much really.

Ok Team, Its my turn to say sorry for not getting my entry in. I know its no excuse but I've just had one of those weeks where I've just been flat out all week. I fully intended to enter the challenge even right up to deadline time but in the end I just found I didn't have time.

My biggest mistake I think was just putting it off till tomorrow, I'll have more time then, but as we all know if you put it off till tomorrow, tomorrow never comes. So all I can do it apologise to all of you for letting you down and assure you it won't happen again.

That's OK, I understand that life gets busy. I just hope we got the minimum of 5 entered, 'cause it looks like Toddster45 didn't enter this week either.

Well so far we definitely have:

Vlado
Millsa
Lonni
Naomik

I assume Judi has one in colour portrait, and I'm not sure about Brat.

Should be fine :)

Good luck everyone - My PJs are currently sitting at 5.8741, but I'm still hoping for a 6 by the end of the week.
