Once upon a time in a far away land called DPChallenge.com, there was much merriment and laughter in scores threads. The people drank wine and their bellies were full. Fruit and vegetables were free to dance gaily day after day...
But then, Dawn of the Paranoia arrived and took those happy fruits and vegetables away. The people of DPChallenge.com had to make do with static letters and numbers, and for a time, it brought them some joy. But the Horrid Paranoia had a vice-like grip and they could no longer gleefully display a high score (disguised or not) without incurring the wrath of the Vote Changer.
They became sad and had to stop posting altogether...

I think, essentially, the Vote Changer spawned the Horrid Paranoia, which in turn leads to Finger Pointing Hoopla (I forgot to mention that before - anyone who'd like to elaborate more, please feel free).
The only way to fight this, is to continue Friday night drinkies! Slowly but surely, we can reclaim all the dancing fruit and vegetables (and maybe even breed some dancing lentils, who knows what's possible?), and finally rid DPChallenge.com of the evil Vote Changer and his sidekick Wet Blanket. |

My score has been dropping all day, with practically no new votes. I'm at 5.28 now and I was at 5.31 just a few hours ago, the vote count hasn't gone up.

Perhaps, someone has been polishing up their voting??? I've had that happen as well. Of course, I always hope that it will be in an upwards swing! *GRIN* Or, it could be that someone's vote has been washed out for some reason???? |

I'm still dropping. Slowly, but dropping. Some grumpy people out there this weekend I guess. Only 2 new votes all day, but a drop from 6.45 to 6.39 (and clinging to that 6.39 by the hair of my teeth).
I'm really, really hoping for a great vote dump on Sunday. |
