I reckon dpc should introduce a test using this and anybody scoring 20 or more should be banned from voting ;)

Colorblindness is NOT an asset.
Score: 84
And it looked so right. That's why I need m'Lady to assist me in color management sometimes. She thinks it a wonder I ever get anything right with my pics. Me, too.

This only makes me happy cuz my photography teacher thought I was red/green color blind! I should make him take it. Hahaha!

WOW that was fascinating!!
I took this for giggles because I have some strong color blindness and can never see ANYTHING in those color blind tests where you color seeing people can make out numbers. I managed a 77 and got an interesting graph of the colors that are most difficult for me to see on the right (GBIV) side of the range but I was surprised that I didn't miss on the left (ROY) side of this chart.
Very informative for me. Thanks! |

However I did this test on a PC and it's my iMac that's calibrated and I do all my PSing on...that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!!!
And yeah them little floating squares really make things screwy after awhile...I'll email it to me Mum (world-renowned watercolourist ;-)) and see what she gets... |

| My job requires color vision. I scored a 42 and then checked against people my age (50-59?) and no one has scored better. The worst score for my age group was over 1400. I guess I can keep my job! ;-) |

I got 38. It helps to squint your eyes as you do it to distinguish a darker or lighter colour that would stand out. Terrible!

Scored 57 on my uncalibrated monitor at work, 24 on my calibrated monitor at home. Both LCDs. Makes me wonder if I'd do better on a CRT.

Really? I checked all of the age ranges ... they all showed 0 as the best score (regardless of gender) with differing values for the highest score - even the 70+ had 0 as the best score.
