		| | I will have my first ribbon at the end of overexposed, it will be brown but it's still a ribbon:)~ Some one has to finish last and this time I think it will be me :( Oh well onward and upward that's how I need to look at it, we all make poor choices every now and again, and that will count as mine.
 MAX!

		| | Two years, 105 challenges to get a Yellow ribbon. I think it's the blind squirrel/acorn kinda thing. :-) |

		| | 54 challenges and no ribbon.
My first (and only) HM came with my 9th entry. I normally keep an eye on everybody but stay quiet most of the time. My membership expires in 5 days so I will submit to my last member challenge.

		| | What are these ribbons of which you speak?
Seriously, the types of images I produce are not apt to garner ribbons any time soon.

No offense, but you can shoot for yourself and still win a ribbon. For example, my first ribbon was with a photo that I shot just for me. It just happened to fit the cahllenge at the time.

Who was I shooting for with my first challenge that gave me my only ribbon (blue), I wonder? I wasn't even aware of how voting worked at the time. I only realized it after seeing the votes appear on my profile page the day after I entered. I wish I could ignore everything I have learned about how DPC voters think and go back to that innocence. lol

Haha, when I was entering my first entry I thought: hey, where's the rest of the entries?

I didn't know it was all anonymous *giggle*

 I am not alone...

And to this day I ask myself why I didn't notice this in the month prior to becoming a member when I was just lurking and studying the landscape, if you will. eheh

 No offense taken.

But, my style does not fit the quorum. I am not known for collecting ribbons, or breaking 7's, or making photog of some week, or favorite photog of some month, or whatever.

I am only known for what I find on the internet, and share from my personal experience.

Therefore, I will never make a ribbon and will continue to shoot what I want, for me, not for DPC.

		| | It took me 49 challenges to crack 6, then 9 to do it again. My goal is to ribbon but I do not have a timeframe to do this.
