I was three years old. I believe that's the year I thought that I would help my sister out by feeding her hamster. Apparently hamsters can't eat gum. It was a lovely funeral. |

For 4 months we hear nothing from you and your first post is about swimming around in your dad's sack???????
Welcome back, girlfriend! You've been missed!!!
back on topic, I was 19 years old and on a road trip to California trying to catch on as a piano/keyboard player with some up and coming bands. |

I was just downwind from ShutterPug and for some reason couldn't stop eating french fries. Whenever I stopped eating, I was on my 16 foot Hobie Cat, flying a hull. |

Well, when you put it that way it makes me realize I should probably keep my mouth shut for at least 4 more months. :X
See ya around October sometime. Maybe I'll drop in for some classic crystal uncouth comment about ghosts, ghouls and "bones". :P |

I had just turned ten in June of '78. My family was going to Florida for two weeks of lounging on the beaches and swimming in the Gulf, but I just had to get in the water as soon as I saw the ocean in Mobil, Alabama. Ten minutes after getting in the water I was on the way to the emergency room needing quite a few stitches in my foot. I had a miserable time the rest of the trip watching my Dad & brother swimming from the beaches. |

you guys have no idea how hard I am laughing this morning reading this thread. THANK YOU!! I am loving it...
and I forgot to add mine... :)
I was born June 8 1978 sometime early in the morning. My parents had just gotten married in Feb 78 cuz I was cooking in the oven. I have a picture of me and my mom and she has really long hair parted in the middle, brown bellbottoms, and some type of flowy shirt on.
I would have loved the disco if I coulda gone.. :) |

I was in Junior High (13), and was probably trying to avoid the bully and his gang who said they were going to 'get me' after school. I made the mistake of throwing some water at a friend of mine, but missed and hit the bully instead, and he was PISSED! :-O
Heh, it reminds me of the time, many years later in a university pub, while in a crowd of bone-headed football players, a friend of mine hit the top of my full beer bottle with the bottom of his, causing a beersplosion. I tried to stop it by putting my thumb over the top, but that only made matters worse. :-(

Living in North London, Drinking at the Hope & Anchor in Islington, walking across Hampstead Heath, seeing and hearing Bob Dylan at Earls Court and the Picnic at Blackbushe, living life to the full.... listening to Joe Strummer and Al Stewart. Being up all night every night. Now let me go back and catch up on all that sleep I lost.

I was in grade 3, scared to death of the teacher who was a nun (Sister Doris!) just your average skinny, stinky, shy little boy.
Things have changed somewhat: Sister Doris doesn't scare me anymore, I'm not as skinny, not as stinky but still a little shy. |

I was seven too, but we got to play real baseball (my towns T-Ball league was 5-6). My brothers best friend's family owned the local movie theater- spent alot of time there, watching alot of movies I was probably too young to see. Movies: Superman, Return from Witch Mountain, Bad News Bears Go To Japan, Corvette Summer, Hooper, Animal House, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Force 10 from Navarone.
I beleive I owned a Mork from Ork shirt- one of those hideous shiny transfers, the ones that melted the first time they hit the dryer.

I was 10. My parents tried to impart self-sustainability on their children. We cut wood for fuel, planted vegetables, raised pigs and sewed many of our clothes. I learned to make yogurt, noodles, soap, wine and more. My parents saved gasoline by planning trips to town and they were very much in favor of recycling. It seems they were both hanging on to the 60's while preparing us for the next century. |

I was 7/8yo, playing with Star Wars toys, wondering why cool movies like Star Wars didn't happen every summer. I also started with my greatest teacher ever that fall (3rd grade), Jim Liebbe. |
