Day 16 of Textures
I'll be away for the weekend (my son is graduating from college - Whoo Hooo!)so I won't be able to post or comment till Monday. Hopefully I'll get a few shots while I'm there. |

Moments Captured
Gosh you guys. . .I got SLAMMED at work, and then at home too. Work got so busy, I actually went an entire 2 days without having a single second to check into my beloved dpChallenge! And I even have a photo in a challenge too. Can you imagine the update withdrawals????? I think I'll do it more often tho, cuz the last I checked before just now, my photo was a disappointing 5.9 (but had climbed up from 5.6!!) . . . . then checking in to post my Day 17 photo, imagine my shock when my score had inched up to 6.15!!!! I think my update button drops the score, so I will leave it alone this weekend :)
Anyway. . .here is my moment captured from a recent event :)

My beautiful red rose buds, have finally dried up, and still look quite beautiful, in a decay sort of way. This is a rose bud, and a leaf all curled up. I hung the rose upside down, for them to dry out. I will be taking some photo of them, for the next few days.

This is an old photograph from a past challenge. It has made the front cover of a brochure for a conference on Art in Property Development. I'm very excited, and have received credit for this. Just wanted to share. Thanks! |
