One of the new items on my agenda since the purchase of the new equipment was to do some telephoto candid photos. I decided to start this project today. Some people, especially kids, will do the funniest things when they think no one is watching :)

Relief

LOL That's funny! Poor little guy didn't have a clue. :-) It would be fun to 'spy' on people with a telephoto lens.

awesome! I love candid shots. A telephoto is a definite necessity for them. Got some more?

*laugh* Great shot, I love it!

I do love candid shots, but always wonder a little if it is always right to publish photos of people who do not know they are in them (not in any way knocking this photo, it is wonderful *laugh*).

I have a great shot of a girl in a bikini in Central Park for instance, lovely natural photo, but I wouldn't put it up as she, whoever she is, may not like the idea of the world seeing her in a bikini. Not an issue for most shots, but there would be some styles of shots where candid is maybe not appropriate.

I think in France you need the permission of everyone in a shot to be able to publish it, not sure if that includes places like DPC or not. That though, to me, is a little over the top.

There is a line to be drawn somewhere, but I can't say I've ever seen a photo here that would be the wrong side of that line :)
