and the highly disorganised x prizes (recognition for those who i think deserve it but didn't get it...) for games go to:
scarbrd i really like this one - the alien children, the outsize chess pieces, all work together so well to make a truly odd and arresting image. it's technically very sound, but beyond that, it's just a damn cool pic.
FocusPoint ooo, this is a cool one. i love the little depth of field, and the surprise of the card in the dartboard is perfect. a very well executed shot, and one with superbly quirky juxtaposition.
StOlafPhotographer ooo, this is deeply funky. i love the tracery of the ball paths and the wide angle forced perspective. i think this might be technically better with slightly more contrast, or deeper tones, but i really enjoy intellectually as it is. nice one!
there was one other image in my top scorers, but it snagged the blue ribbon (amazingly, my top score wasn't the kiss of death - well done indeed!), so, sorry, LydiaToo, that's recognition enough! |
