Congrats to  AlexSaberi! His photo "Realm of the Deer" has won the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's 2008 Earth Day Photo Contest, in the "Nature and Wildlife category":
Alex's photo will be featured on EPA's home page and on the finalists/winners photo gallery page.
There were nearly 750 photos submitted across the three categories. A panel of EPA judges chose 10 finalists for each, and then the public voted.
From that page, you can sign up to get email alerts about next year's contest.
Congrats, too, to DPC's  doctornick, who was the only person with two finalists: one in "Nature and Wildlife" and one in "Enjoying the Environment."
And to DPC's JaimeVinas, who also had a finalist in "Nature and Wildlife."

It only placed 5th here but my goodness that was a heck of a challenge to get a top 10 entry in.
