		| | It rained most of the weekend here in Syracuse, but that didn't stop me from getting out of the house. I went up to Green Lakes park for the first time. I can't wait to go back on a sunny day.
I was wondering if anyone thought I captured the feel of a rainy day? Or not?

		| | I really like the way the water is driping off the limbs and leaves.

		| | I love the water on the branches. It is an excellent shot. You totally captured the feel of a rainy day. Beautifully.

		| | As far as capturing the feeling... yes. The only think I would have added is showing some of the sky, especially if it's grey and ominous looking. As it is, it could well be a cold, foggy, dew filled morning just waiting for the sun to warm up the area into a beautiful cloud free day. |

		| | Thnks all,
I cropped the sky out because there was too much contrast between the branches and the sky. You couldn't see any shapes in the clouds cause of the rain. Just a sheet of white. There was intermittent fog, but only near the tree tops. I was surprised to see about 20 other diehards out there jogging or hiking with thier umbrellas. When you have to spend 4-6 months indoors(winter), you get out whenever its warm enough! LOL

		| | I love it. I really like the focus of the tree in the forground and the rain coming down and hitting the water. Very nice.

		| | I didn't know they called it that John! LOL, LATELY, ITS NOT TRUE!!! I'm just glad that it wasn't that cold out. It was about 60 degrees.

I am here on a six month consulting contract, and I keep finding these beautiful places to shoot pictures. But, I'm running out of nicer weather and time to take photos. So far I have tried to go to a new place every weekend that I'm not back home(Denver). Its not like I have to force myself. I'm betting that will change soon. When the weather turns, I'll be forcing myself to get out and take photos.

		| | I live in Syracuse and have to force myself to go anywhere even in the summer. I have been here most of my life and I really do not like NY any more. |

		| | Excellent photo Olympian. You certainly did manage to capture the feeling of a rainy day, in my opinion. The fall foliage is beautiful as a blurry background. |
