...Waiting for that brown truck. After putting it off for over a year, I finally pulled the trigger and ordered a 135mm f/2.0L on Sunday. Should see it tomorrow via UPS. Drool.

I'm either buying or renting that lens for a shoot coming up the first week of April. I keep trying to convince myself that I only "really" need it for this one event. But the lens hog in me keeps insisting that once I buy it I'll find a multitude of uses for it.

I need a bigger bag!

Do let us know what you think of the lens!

I rented that lens and enjoyed every minute of it. And since then I have been keeping my eye open for a good deal on it. Enjoy.

I just bought new toys too. I got my first grown up tripod:

Bogen / Manfrotto 055XPROB Pro Tripod Legs (Black) with 486RC2 Compact Ballhead

Which the nice brown truck brought here yesterday...omgsh I love it. I almost slept with it the first night.

And I have a B W Polarizing filter coming -- to replace...oh thats right I never managed to buy a polarizing filter. Dang I cannot wait for that to get here!

The 135 F2L is one of my favorite primes.

My only beef with it, is it has a tendency to hunt ever so slightly in the darkest of situations without a good are of contrast. But man are the images sharp. Link to a straight out of camera shot with it and the 1DMKI

Did it come?
Is it there?
What did you gift the UPS guy/gal?
Oh...
What are you doing online?
It didn't come, did it?
You'll be on pins and needles until tomorrow, won't you?
My sympathies...
