I do want to help him, he is such a nice gentleman. But here is my situation:
1. I will not participate in the tournament, I just can not commit on shooting anything, my participation on dpc challenges is just for fun and i only submit if I have anything.
2. I can do it after 10th of this month.
3. I can not use pay pal. I got to find some other way to do it.

That said - I'll cover  zxaar's entry fee as well.

| I'm in! Just sent a PM. I love this idea - Enzo is one of my favorite photographers and one of the most helpful members here. Plus I've been craving some extra competition lately... bring it on! |

Oh, I think I could not say it correctly. I can cover my entry fee but since I have only credit card but never used pay pal, I do not know how to do it.
My problem is I do not want to participate in challenge. I wish someone else could do that. I just want to make a contribution depending on my bank account's situation, on 10th of this month.

I think this is a great idea and really shows the wonderful spirit at DPC. I just wanted to to pat you all on the back. I cannot contribute as I have no pay pal or no credit card, I do not wish for anyone else to cover me either I just wanted to tell you guys YOU ROCK! This is a very kind and wonderful thing to do and has brought a tear to my eye..

Man... gotta love the community spirit of DPC.
Would absolutely love to participate in this challenge as I'd love to help contribute towards Enzo's new camera, but
a) I'd get my butt whipped in the challenge
b) If I had $25 to spare, I get myself a DPC membership
Alas, all I'm able to offer in support of Enzo in his time of need, is that of two big dogs to protect him next time he wants to do some night shots in this dangerous city of ours.
I look forward to watching the progress of this tournament. Applause and best of luck to all participants. |

This restores my faith in the belief that there are some amazingly generous people in the world. That 'stragers who are friends I haven't met yet' would do this for me has really blessed me. I am sharing this with my church tomorrow

Something I could do to help is that I only have 2 prints on DPC prints but if anyone wants to grab one I would donate ALL the money to this cause, if you fancy one of my shots that is not on DPC prints just let me know and I will upload it for you... Apart from that all I can do is a bit of cheerleading from the touchline.

Yep! Want a few other examples to share? :)
A bunch of folks bought a new camera for  klstover last year when hers broke.
When JerseyGenie fell and broke her leg last year, a bunch of folks chipped in for flowers I could take to the hospital.
I lost track of how many DPCers contributed to my MS walk fundraiser last year, and I know others contribute to  ClubJuggle's rides and other similar events.
I've also lost track of how many people have bought memberships for others, and usually strangers.
I use this site now as a prime example of how the Internet has allowed the creation of international communities.
