I got an email from Kodak and they said my "MUNCHING ON MILKWEED" photo has been chosen for POTD October 9. I'm so excited I can hardly breath!

Hey guys, I had a POTD from Kodak in the past and one of the neat things is that they put it on their billboard in Times Square on the day that it is the POTD. If they are still doing that there are several places that have live Webcams of Times Square. Gordon made a screen capture of mine and I still have it. I enjoy telling folks that I once had a huge photo of mine displayed in Times Square!!

That's really cool. I have the New York rep for my company all set to show up in Times Square with his camera. He's supposed to call me on his cell phone while looking at the billboard! Hey, Edwin, want me to see if he'll go back there on the 10th??
I was more excited about having the photo on Times Square than on the Kodak website! 8-)

I've asked my friend to photograph your POD on Times Square and he's said YES! He only has a polaroid instamatic thingy, so I asked him to get a disposable camera so we can have a cd and I can email the photos to you. WooHoo.

| Thanks Kavamama, and congrats to you on your Kodak POTD! It's great! As is imagesloyala's! Congrats to you as well. They used to have a webcam on the Kodak site of the the Times Square display, but they have apparently done away with it. I wanted to go in February when I had another up, but it was during the dark times (I was camera-less for about 6 weeks AAHHHHHHH!!!) I'm planning to go up on to NYC on Sunday and meet one of my digital friends there, grab some shots of where we go and the Times SQuare display....hmmm urban landscapes....timing might be good, hope the weather is. |
