Typically if you are shooting a band, you get 3 shots before you have to leave the pit/ venue/ stop shooting.
These days its getting even less - last act I shot I got 30 seconds at the start of each of the first 3 songs. I've heard of others that get 30 seconds total then have to leave.
Don't want to see your stars sweaty now, do you ? |

Amazing narrative... and it gives me some solace.... the great images are not the flashy ones of their time :-) |

Great find! Ahhh memories. And is it just me or do kids these days have no decent rock bands of their own to listen to that they are all such fans of 70's rock? Not that I mind it at all - and I can still kick my 15 year old's ass at rock trivia, but he's catching up. :)
another thought - what will they call music from 2000 - 2010? Zero's Rock? Is there even any that will be remembered?? I think not. I think they will still be listening to 70's rock in 2050. ...and they'll all still be playing live! Albeit at the local casinos here. :/ |

Even since I was a kid, me and my brother have had debates about this. Basically trying to figure out who will be the next zeppelin, or Sabbath (we are more hard rock-metal oriented)
We had our money on Guns 'n Roses at one point but i dont think it worked out that way,
Personally I think the only legendary band of the genre from the 80s and on are the Chili Peppers (and Iron Maiden + Metallica + Slayer in the metal genre)
Any other suggestiong? Nirvana? |
