I see....

....nothing,
....everything,
....you,
....me,
....your thoughts,
....your dreams!

I see everything.

Can't you see it too?

Sorry....I see you too.
I should have said what is "seeing the unseen"?

X-Ray
Half shaved head
Inside Hard Drive
Under a car
Inside gun's barrel
etc...

The rest of the setting for a photo shoot or TV production or play. The chef at work creating the meal. The woman getting ready for her wedding. The trash truck early in the morning. These are things that you don't normally see.

Why do I see a low scoring, DNMC in my future?
11/28/2007 05:35:19 PM · #10
I had a totally different take on the challenge than you all, I was thinking some kind of optical illusion, like this:

Not sure how to photograph that though?

Forget the background, but would something like this fit into this challenge?

I normally don't see worms in water, so that could match "Seeing the Unseen", or am I just missing a point?

Putting both together (Okay, I made the mirror image in Photoshop, so shoot it against a mirror):

mmmm I think that there will be many controversial dnmc....
11/29/2007 04:57:18 PM · #19
I doubt I'll enter this one, a lie would be a good example, I think, or "there's always a catch" type of thing. I think it will be a hard one to pull off, I did see examples of pictures that looked like the ones that IreneMdoes with the splashes,(awesome). It will be a hard to enter and to vote on, but I say be a little more open minded when voting this challenge, but thats just me, usually always open minded:) Not sure if I really wanna do a self portrait, put myself up there to be scored upon, not too fond of having my picture done, thats why I like being the one to take pictures......

I liken't the self portraits (only one realized in the last challenge on the self portraits) but this challenge is very attractive. it will be a challenge with different technique and with many points of view. something of new, and interesting. perhaps don't will be a challenge with very high scores because a lot of dnmc will be possible but securely there will be new types of images(I hope).

I can't really see my own ass so maybe I'll take a shot at a full moon pic.
11/29/2007 08:55:08 PM · #22
And what about a ghost?
12/02/2007 09:07:28 PM · #23
Most people havent seen the butt of an ant. Anything micro/macro.
Think outside the box, shoot what most don't see, like what's inside a box. Behind-the-scenes. Okay, no more hints, or I'll have to charge ya.

mine is very literal to the challenge ... but it will bomb ..
;)

If I could afford to, I'd put a camera with an ultrawide inside the oven while cooking a roast :-)
