 I remember that optical illusion where you can't decide whether it's two faces or a vase, so I figured I'd try mine. Pretty cool effect using just brightness and contrast - brought out colors that aren't in the original, which looks like a B&W even though it's in color. Guess there's some color cast left over.

i've looked at your portfolio because you made a comment on my 'famous last words' entry .. it was a pretty emotive subject but i've only had your comment from the 65 views and 40 votes that have registered so far .. i intentionally made it dull and lifeless to go with the message .. but even so i thought it might do ok .. oh well ...
my aim is to get a score of 6.000 by the year 2010!

anyway i've been blown away by the challenge submissions shown on your profile page ... you are an artist par excellence ... i've looked at others in your portfolio and found the 30 days of self portraits pretty imaginative as well ... the architecture's pretty crash hot too ... anyway all the best ...

ps .... this one of yours really caught my eye ... and at first i didnt realise what it was ... which i really like .. ie. the not immediately obvious ...

Very nice digital art here! You pulled this off well - and I do like the artifacts created with the extreme post processing. Quite fascinating!

Actually the part above the nose looks sort of like a women's torso... with a fancy corset like dress or something.
