I have a few wishes this holiday season...
1. Weird Socks...bright colors, toe socks, anything but white!
2. Anything from New York...such as photo, postcard, sticker
3. New winter coat and hat
4. Cute winter boots
5. To spend more time with my family
6. For my mom to sell a bunch of her photos and become famous
7. A new camera...all I have is a HP 525 and sometimes I borrow my moms
8. Some new portrait lighting for my mom
9. Anything Elmo or Dora for my daughter
10. To become a DPC member |

1. to sell my sigma 175-500mm (450.00 CDN)
2. 8 people for my kenya safari Sept. 2008 trip
3. To come up with a project to do in kenya, an extra week where we could do something for people there.
4. To really master doing masks
5. Our horse to fully recover from the nail he stepped on
6. To be able to master my tripod and 500mm lens on it
7. ipod
8. one of those cameras that work on a sensor so that I can take pictures at night of coyotes in my pasture....which I never seem to see except for scat
9. peace on earth
10. To give away all the junk in my house that I have not used for the last year....including my kids stuff

It was interesting reading this and it gave me a few ideas and helped clarify my goals ;) Will go through soon and get addresses for anyone that wanted postcards
1. I mainly shoot RAW now so my 512 cf card does'nt really cut it anymore! So a 1 or 2 gig card
2. Props and backgrounds and a background holder
3.Lighting, reflectors and a softbox
4.To go on a specialised photography holiday
5.To be able to study photography
6.Empty perfume bottles, I collect them
7.To have a GTG in NZ that all the great kiwi DPC members can come to
8.Financial stability
9.More time to spend on photography and scrapbooking
10. All the wishes to be granted here and to all my friends and family |

I just received 2 packages in the mail. The first was from a Funky socks store. These are the neatest funky sock I have ever seen! I LOVE them! Thank you Judy!
The second contained 2 memory cards. This is exactly what I needed. Thank you so much David. No wonder I love this place so much!
PS KaDi, you book was sent this morning. |

I have never done this before, but I've been thinking--
(These are not necessarily things that I can't afford/get myself, I just flat out can't find some of them :/)
1. Primer readers/Beginning reading books for my 5 yo son. Yes, we can (and do) check them out of the library, but he hates turning them back in. If they are leveled, levels 1 and 2 work best, or phonics based books. If they are about football or airplanes, you will become a hero. Used are great; doesn't need to be new. DONE! Thanks guys. My little guy will be literate yet!!!
2. Workbooks for above 5 yo.
3. A pink football for my 2 yo daughter. I've been looking for over a year. If you don't want to send it, but you know where it is, just point me to it! DONE! Thanks Louis! I don't care what everyone says about you, you are cool. :) ;)
4. Postcards from anywhere. One of my projects this spring is to have a "wall world" because my son and daughter love maps and globes. have gotten several of these lined up. THANKS EVERYONE!
And that would be about it.
Now to the giving -- who wanted the "bull's-eye candy. I know it is back there somewhere, but I can't find you. Karen? maybe?

If anybody has old 60's or 70's rock, r&b or motown cassettes (yes, those plastic things with the thin tapes inside) that they don't want, let me know. The 69 Camaro doesn't have a CD player and the radio is funky, so we listen to old tapes when we ride around. You can't find them to buy any more.
I've sent out several goodies. Anyone get yours besides  sher and  BAMartin? I have a few more to work on tomorrow. ;~D I got a book of Neruda poems already too. WOO HOO

I hate to list on here, but you can't give the gift of giving if you don't recieve - so here it goes. (In no particular order)
1.) A VPC (car plug that makes a home outlet - to charge my camera batteries in the car)
2.) Chap sticks (non used lol) I lOVE chapsticks
3.) A gift card to Best Buy or somewhere so I can get a new printer/fax
4.) Any Canon stuff - I need any lighting, backdrops, lenses beyond my listed ones, props, FLASH, ... hell, anything really.
5.) A new nice portfolio book
6.) A Mac Notebook with CD writer (new or used) with good space.
7.) CS2 or CS3 :)
8.) DVD's (my fiance and I have a great collection and are always adding) : Star Wars, 80's flicks, horror, Kung Fu, CSI sets, ...
9.) Some Compact Flash SanDisk 2+ GB Cards for my camera.
10.) Health - I want everyone to just be healthy this year - no colds.
