Who knows, it might just. To paraphrase MTV, you could Suck The Vote

Watch out for this guy!

Not only is he one damn fine photographer, but he has these really obnoxious spells of seriously reasoned, well grounded thought, and linear, rational discussion.

Personally, I think we should ignore him and maybe he'll go away......8>)

Seriously, let's see what he's got to say, you can look at my bio page for the quote I stole from him during one of the endless DNMC debates, and you'll usually get a kick out of his dry rational humor when he gets pushed hard.

What I don't get is that he's from Texas.......aren't they s'posed to all be loudmouthed drunken cowboys down there?

Nice to see you here, Gordon, you'll like these guys!

I'm doing a little reverse jebbing, I've broken back through to the 5 range, though both comments are negative.

Mine's reversing for some inexplicable reason.....YAY!!!

Peter, this has GOT to be an OOBie candidate!

It's just inconceivable that you'd get nailed like this........take a diving suit just to be safe......Scotty, helium in the tanks!

Okay, first people, please, "Jebâ„¢" is a trademarked brand. Please use "Jebâ„¢" only as an adjective, as in, "I have a Jebâ„¢ score" or, "Jebâ„¢ scores are sometimes hard to understand." Please don't make "Jebâ„¢" into a verb, such as "Jebbing" or "My score has Jebbed," or into a noun, such as "I have a Jeb." If it helps you to remember, insert the word "brand" between Jebâ„¢ and the word it describes, such as, "A Jebâ„¢ brand score." Our trademark is an important part of TeamSuck'sâ„¢ business property, and it's our job to see that it is not lost through inappropriate use. Thank you for your cooperation.

In any event, my score continues to Jeb:

I'm giving you a run for your money, Don, just 0.0686 separating us! Where did you start? Mine was first seen at 6.6+, and of course, the measure of a good Jeb is the fall, not the overall score :P

Welcome, Courtney!

Peter, your score makes me want to vote this challenge just to find your hidden gem. I wish people would open their minds as well as their eyes when they vote (of course, some people I wish would simply open their eyes, and others I wish would keep them closed). Your dedication to the cause is inspiring!

Gordon, the first rule of Team Suck is you don't talk about Team Suck. The second rule of Team Suck is you don't talk about Team Suck. And you certainly don't talk about the revolution. Sssshhhhh. (nice to see you here).

That's cause I'm not and they are. Mind you, I was 2/3rds of that before I got here.

Nope, but it does presume all y'all don't vote often enough to change the status quo.

Actually, Gordon, Team Suckers are pretty good voters and quite prolific commenters. We tend to give more than we get - a lot. You'll find that we often comment on each others' shots without knowing it, until we get "Hey, a TS'er commented on my shot!" here. But you're right - it's definitely not enough to change the status quo. Which is why we hang out here...

Firstly, Argentina, don't cry for me (a little damp eye is ok, I wouldn't want you to be all cold and heartless), as my darling entry has fully merited its Jebâ„¢ situation.

Gordon is from Scotland, where folk are 66% loudmouthed, drunk etc, or so he claims. There have been reports of occasional stoicism or even taciturnity but a general tendency to around 215% drunkenness. Except on hogmanay, of course, statistics for which no one has developed the maths to calculate. Neither has anyone convincingly been able to distinguish between the highland Scot and his or her cattle, so the term 'cowboy' is usually left out.

I'm beginning to decompress at 3.6494

Hey, maybe he'd want to knock around with my nieghbor, Moses.

He likes moonlight strolls, water sports, and Clark Gable movies.

We're Team Suck......we don' need no steenkin' status quo!.....8>)

Actually, with the various OOBies and Yappies, Posthumous Ribbons, brown ribbons and just general anarchy that goes along with being here, we have gained infamy, thereby if not changing the staus quo, certainly leaving it suspicious and wondering what we'll do next!

Hey, do we have a place for Bear_Music yet????

I'd still love to see him on Team Entropy for all the selfish reasons in the world.

How about Courtney?

Who gets to deform the young mind?????

Happily watching my score this A.M.

I heard through the grape-vine that he liked my poem best! Just kidding, but I haven't seen a post from him yet. Maybe he changed his mind.

hehehe. Ok, just one correction to all of our family laundry being aired here. I am allergic to clams! Never clam-juice. Just beer and tomato juice. sheesh!

Does my lovely niece get to hang out with me on Team Chasing Butterfies?

Welcome CJ, to the crazy world of Team Suck!

I'm still fairly new to DPC,but I love it.
If it wasn't for my uncle (basssman7), I wouldn't be on here and learning so much.
He's a pretty cool uncle,(besides the obvious,being a photographer :) ...)
I don't have many family memories that he's not in..he was there every christmas morning that I remember (drinking beer and clamato juice with my dad at 7am),all birthday parties (I have a video of my first birthday with Uncle E sporting a nice curly fro and moustache...looking a little on the creepy side if you ask me..but then again,it was 1987)...
There was the drunken campfire nights, where my parents,Uncle E and some friends and neighbours decided to keep the rest of the neighbourhood up until all hours of the next morning;yelling drunkenly and dancing on top of the picnic table;breaking my favorite pool toy, along with many pool-noodles broken in the 'pool-noodle fights'.....oh the memories....

Whew! I'm glad it was a nice comment! I left one or two that I hate to leave, but I know if I dodge commenting on shots that don't work for me, it never gets any easier.

In keeping with our voting/commenting responsibility attitude, I am voted enough in both challenges that I'm in for the votes to count, and I've been keeping a 3:4 ratio on comments/votes......that's a real b*tch on this 33,600 dialup, but I will get to more before Single Light closes and the same with Duo-Tones.

Duo-Tones:
You have rated 62 of 295 images (21%) in this challenge.
You have commented on 51 images (17%) in this challenge.

Single Light Source:
You have rated 44 of 198 images (22%) in this challenge.
You have commented on 36 images (18%) in this challenge.

Personally, I'm pleased to say that I virtually always get at least one TS comment per challenge, and considering I often get less than 10 comments, that's terrific!

Deb, sent you a PM! And thank you!

I haven't received a TS comment on my duotone yet, but have my fingers crossed!

Well my vote just continues to slide, now at 4.2...isn't that a slow Jeb?

Gordon, Peter, Courtney: welcome one and all, I have a brownie recipe lurking somewhere if you want it (offered to all new TS'ers).
