Honestly, looking back through my entries, there aren't many underated at all, and none that I consider vastly underated.

Still, this one remains one of my favorites and I wish it would have done better: (from the "conflict" challenge)

I just like all the colors, who said a photo had to be sharp.

Oh I forgot you have to have a challenge at this place to be somebody.

:-P~~~

Jason, please tell your Mom that Mae is my middle name too...(I will never confess my first name because it drives me crazy. So, I've always gone by my middle name. Hmmmm....should I put that in the "odd" thread?!!!)

Probably the shot I put the most effort in ever (in PP). Thought it would at least make top 10 from the moment I took it.

I just loved this shot...Though it appears I was in the vast minority

Jon - it is a good shot. Like many said during voting, it has all the best of street photography, but the levels/ contrast were off giving it a grey look. By simply adjusting the levels on the whites (it was underexposed), and modifying the grey slider a bit, you could achieve this.

Easy choice.

Yes I liked this picture a lot. It is impactful picture, but the probable reason where it placed was that it was free study with expert editing rule (if i remember correctly), there were some really awesome photos in it.

Loved this shot

and I thought this was so much better than I got.

I really liked this shot (as did the musician):

I thought it was much better than a 5.3, though I've come to expect horrible scores with Free Study submissions.

Still one of my favorite shots. And gloda, screw the score (which wasn't bad) - look at the favs on that shot of yours. :-)

Chris ( breadfan35) - really is a lot better than a 5.3. I think it would make an excellent CD cover, as a matter of fact.

i know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but this i could look at for ever. it got a 4.6 in the last free study.

My most recent entry, placed 408 of 520.
I like it a lot due to color and symmetry and its print is going into a collective exposition!

it must be hard being underrated while drowning in a sea of high scores and waves of ribbons...:)

I really think that this was just way underrated.

I think this one was severely underrated, it´s clearly the best photograph ever seen on DPC :P

Yeah Larus, that shot was very underrated. How you managed to keep from getting a brown ribbon is beyond me. LOL

I agree. I gave it an 8.0441.

For the Bokeh IV challange, I was very surprised that this scored merely a 4.9.
