I am clean freak. I can't stand a DUST on the floor, and greasy counter, dirty dishes everywhere, dirty clothes on the floor... Drives me NUTS.

Yes, I do the cleaning at home; I don't trust my wife's cleaning. and if she sees this... I am a dead man :P

I do too. It's theorized that this is caused by Psychokinesis (the same type of energy responsible for poltergeist activity). I once went down a street and three lights went out in sequence as I approached them. Skeptics would say that this is a common occurrence, and that it's just coincidence that you happen to be walking by.

Do you guys ever have other things happen, like things moving or breaking inexplicably; especially when you are angry or stressed?

I get that, too with the lights, but I thought I was just taking things all out of proportion.

Also, I can't wear a watch because it stops within a few days (when I was younger, it was within an hour).

That's PK, too. I have killed so many watches that I lost count. Sounds like we have a lot in common!

That brings up another one of my oddities. I can no longer stand to wear watches or jewelry. I rarely even wear my wedding ring because it bothers my finger.

I cannot sit and play video games or I will get vertigo and have seizures.

I had to open another browser to upghrade my list as this is the first time I found it and am discovering I have WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too many of these oddities.

I can walk by any room with the door closed and tell if there is a TV on; I also hate the racket that flourescent lights make.

I have a semi-photographic memory....I remember almost any stupid little thing about cars or mechanical items, yet I am really bad with names.

I hate the sound of someone running a vacuum cleaner in the same building as I am, but I *love* to vacuum as long as I'm running it.

I love the sound of pneumatic tools, even dentist's drills.....actually, I kinda like them the most.

That weird hearing thing really works for me with turbocharged cars/trucks, I can really get the maximum mileage and power out of them by listening to the turbo whine and adjusting my throttle foot accordingly.

NOTHING in the world excites me like sound of a Formula 1 engine at the redline. I love that sound!

I can tell when a really weird and violent electrical storm is about to cut loose because the air looks green to me and I can feel the charged air.

I never sleep for more than 3½-4 hours at a stretch.....I can generally go right back to sleep, but I still wake up. I can take a nap virtually on command......anywhere, any time, at a party, in the living room, in a car, in a crowded airport, and wake completely refreshed after 15-20 minutes. My wife HATES this about me! Jealous, methinks!

I *love* hiccups!

I can eat tomatoes 'til they come out my ears, with mayo and/or salt, but tomato sauce, pizza sauce, or cooked tomatoes give me indigestion that'll last for hours.

I have never been able to eat an Atomic Fireball the whole way without crushing it before it's gone, but I virtually never bite a Tootsie Roll Pop before it's all chocolate.

I love peanut butter and bacon sandwiches......on toast.

I love the pop of canned bread.

I hate the health margarine nuts that insist that margarine tastes fine and you don't even notice. I'd rather eat chalk. Sweet cream butter, lightly salted, NO substitutions!

I mess up the reception on small inexpensive table radios.....if I hear one wonking out, I like to rock back and forth and listen to the station come and go. If you have a TV that uses an antenna and/or rabbit ears and the staion won't quite come in, if I grab it, the picture will clear right up.

I am incredibly gregarious and outgoing; I adore virtually all women, and strike up conversations with total strangers. Often women I have just met after only a few minutes will open up to me and confide things they have never told another soul. And I can usually sense what it is that's missing in their lives within minutes of them opening up, and my sense is usually correct. This often scares me.

I *hate* wasted space in trash bags/cans....I tear up and fold cardboard, I'll fill empty containers with stuff before I throw them out.

I hate all nuts except peanuts and pistachios.

I cannot wear cheap watches, the metal of the backing corrodes from my skin sweat/oils and rots the skin underneath it. A Rolex, Patek Phillippe, or Tag Heuer is just fine.

So that's just my list for now.....you guys already knew that I was nuts, right?.....8>)

looks like dpc has more than its share of OCDs and anal retentives!

but to those of you hearing voices, I recommend getting yourselves checked out. That could be serious.

I like to post all sorts of strange and gross medical questions on a photography web site. :P

Wow this is scary - the street light thing happens to me a lot. The watch thing happens in cycles. Nice to know I am not alone. But it might be a good idea if we all weren't in the same place at the same time. It would be dark and no one would know what time it was. :p

I also have incredibly sensitive hearing. The high-pitch sound of fluorescent lights and tv's drives me crazy.

Very low frequency sounds make me really dizzy.

I like to put my french fries (or potato chips) on my sandwich.

I have a high degree of empathy. Sometimes when I walk into a room people's emotions overwhelm me.

I love to dip potato chips or saltine crackers in chocolate icing.

I collect skull and skeleton figurines.

I have an almost life-size inflatable sarcophagus standing in the corner of my living room.

I'm a voracious reader...novels, the dictionary, encyclopedias, magazines...anything I can get my hands on. I have boxes and boxes of books that I have no room for but I can't make myself get rid of them.

I hate ketchup unless I mix it with mayo.

I'm an excellent marksman with a gun and with a bow and I was taught to shoot by my mom.

probably a lot more stuff but the cold meds are clouding my brain...i'm pretty weird so i'm sure i'll think of other things.

I have Menieres disease and I get dizzy at the slightest things, like taking an Elevator... LOL

My family laughs at me because I will jump suddenly like I am falling at the most unusual times.

I cant make a decision to save my life... I am probably the MOST indecisive person that I have ever met...

That's eerie, but it's so nice to know I'm not alone! Although, in regards to jewelry, I tend to wear too much. I think at one point I was up to 13 rings before I decided I was getting a bit silly. Now I'm down to 4 at work and 6 on the weekends, unless I'm taking photos.

I can't stop clicking "Update" button. I know it's not odd, but I somehow find it and click it even if I don't have anything in the challenge.

go figure.

I also cant stand the noise from florescent lighting and the dam flicker that they produce drives my eyes nuts.

I hate CRT televisions and monitors also for the high pitch whaling that they produce.

I can go completely out of my mind when someone stops in a merge lane.

I tend to stutter a lot when talking face to face to a woman I perceive as beautiful

Born and raised in Calgary but REALLY HATE WINTER (thats a biggie even after 37 years now Im still not used to it)

theres a lot more depressing and or creepy stuff I wont get in to...

Now you've done it... SCs are chasing me, and I am cornered :p

Where is your "Cartoon comic exaggeration sense" man?

Things you want so much... even they are not there! think about it, you don't have any entry, yet you want to win so much anyway, you actually get voted...

HAH...

I can eat just one potato chip.

I can look at a map of a city I've never been once and drive there without missing a street. And will remember it for years.

I can identify over 600 species of birds. "By ear"

I always wake up before the alarm goes off, no matter when I set it.

I often will say something in my head about some random just walking down the street. Then think that they can hear what I'm saying in my head, so then I tell them (in my head) that I KNOW THEY KNOW. Then wait for a response...

a bit peculiar...

1. Clowns give me the creeps - can't stand seeing them at all.

2. I love blood and gore. I don't want to see people get hurt, but when they do I just have to see the gore part.

3. Cannot stand crumbs in my butter. I wipe off the knife before I'll stick it back in the butter tub.

I built an air cannon, 40 ft long overall, and it can launch watermelons over three quarters of a mile, and at velocities of over 500 ft per second. Is that normal? : )

In my university I always follow one route to get to class. There are 3 billion ways to get there but I can't deviate from that one way..

when I wear a watch I'll wear it for 6 months straight.. I rarely take it off.. even wash my hands with it on but baths have to be an exception..

I have separate clothes for in the house and out.. I keep my out of the clothes looking like new for years while my in the house ones are getting raggy.

I rarely have any female characters in the stories I write.. my teachers in school were very distressed and its widely believed I'm some kind of feminist/misogynist...

oh and I can't touch dust.. I can dig around in the dirt but I can't touch that one speck of dust..

Can't think of much that isn't odd.
At the moment I am preoccupied with socks. I hate store bought socks, they have those nasty toe seams. So mostly I wear ones I have knit, mostly of wool and warm in the rubber boots that are the footwear of choice in this rainy place. Also they fit better at the ankle and heel and don't get sucked into the toe of the boot like bought ones. Trouble is I haven't been knitting ever since I got my first digital camera 2 years ago, and my supply consists of ones waiting to be darned (haven't done that either) or so shrunk they need to be donated to whatever children can be forced into itchy socks or cut up for weird woolly projects.
I see no solution. I see no solution to lots of things. Solutions would happen if I made tiny decisions here and there, but I am like gwe21 or more so, I never make a decision if I can help it.
Oh, and I also have more wool than I could knit even if I had another lifetime to do it in. Some of it would have been knitted, pre-digital times, had I been able to decide which wool to use for which sock or sweater or glove.
Oh, and I want to write a libretto for "Hegel" - an operetta," but I can't get past "The Absolute is with us from the start."

That is a pretty neat habit! I wish I could do that, then I wouldn't have to feel so guilty staying up all night and sleeping in every morning.

This is a serious case of the Dr. Phil syndrome! I would be afraid, really afraid! No, not so much, though it is quite odd, I have seen this syndrome being worked out in real life and it was just strange, seriously!

yeah, me too. i sometimes wake up and can't feel my left or right arm at all. then i usually start playing around with my "dead" arm, because it feels nicely weird to touch, bite or tweak it and it feels like someone's elses part of the body.
and i can't piss when someone is around in the same room.
