I love the brown ones too, but not the ones with brown spots.

I do my dishes in a certain order.

I like the flavor and scent of onions but I absolutely won't eat onions.

I like milk with popcorn.

When I eat a meal, I like to eat all my food evenly. So at the end I have one bite of everything left.

It annoys me when other drivers hit their brakes first then turn on their turn signals.

I love tomato soup but hate tomatoes.

Oh...I am so afraid of mice that I think if one came at me I would suffer a heart attack or something.

I have a recurring dream that I find a hidden room in my house. It's always full of interesting "stuff".

You people all scare me. I don't know if you would consider these things odd, but I'll throw a few out there:

- A1 Sauce makes my eyelids sweat.

- When I am trying to be real quiet (like sneaking past the sleeping baby), my eardrums vibrate invluntarily, making a loud sound in my ears that drowns out the sound of my footsteps.

- While walking along, I sometimes have visions of me running ahead of myself and slamming into a wall or hurling myself violently onto the pavement.

- Almost all my thoughts, decisions, musings, etc. take place in the form of a conversation in my head - usually between 3 or more voices. Right now I can hear them debating the wisdom of posting this information.

Alright, I think he's said enough.

Thanks Nate,

I have actually gotten these as a christmas present a few times... I guess my wife was sick of eating all the others that year :P

I never wear a watch. I have about 6 of them because other people think I need them but I won't wear them. I do, however, have about 15 clocks in my house. Some work, some don't, and none of them say the same time; the only way to know the real time is to check the computer or TV. However, I'm obsessed with time - not the actual time but the passage of time. Sometimes, while waiting, I will count to see how much time passes.

I HATE rhythmic movement - a person tapping their pen or shaking their leg - it is so unnerving I sometimes have to leave the room.

I have a photographic memory and can remember a face from years ago. But I can't remember a name from 30 seconds ago.

I was a go-go dancer 20 years ago (yes, I'm old) and no, its not the same as a stripper.

I can hear electricity.

I can tell its going to rain or snow at least 24 hours in advance and tell about how much.

I married some guy I met on the internet.... And it works :)

May not be as odd as it used to be, but 7 years later it's fairly rare to last so long.

This is a serious case of the Dr. Phil syndrome! I would be afraid, really afraid! No, not so much, though it is quite odd, I have seen this syndrome being worked out in real life and it was just strange, seriously!

The thing that I find so sad is that I find women to be trusting, open, and honest with their thoughts and feelings which doesn't jibe with what most guys seem to think about that whole "I don't understand women.", which to me comes across like, "I'm so self-absorbed I couldn't possibly sit and listen, or, God forbid, ASK what a woman wants of feels.".

Consequently, it just seems to me that women are just intrigued by a man that actually *LIKES* them and doesn't want to just jump them.

My wife was terribly insecure about this little "thing" that I have......it took her ten years to realize that these women that I would talk to are friends, and that I made my choice and commitment to her, and after 29 years together, she now finds it fascinating.

In college I was the burping king. My longest burp was 34 seconds long with no breaks (we had actually recorded on a cassette tape). I am out of practice now for the really long ones, but give me a week and I could get back in shape.

I do this a little differently. I was pretty much an early ADHD case, back when it was considered just really f*ckin' obnoxious, and at about 7th grade, I figured out that school was pretty much just an organized way to teach me how to learn and I was incredibly bored.

I ended up being such a major disruption that I got chucked out of five private schools before I finally gave up without ever acquiring a high school diplome. I then went to a semester of college based on my college board scores, but got bored with that and left. So.....once outside the confines of formalized education, I *really* started to learn; I'm a voracious reader and a whiz with a search engine and I pride myself in both the level of my hunger for knowledge and my ability to satisfy it.

My ADHD works well for me in that respect, 'cause I get sidetracked and not only discover the answer, but then wander off on other tangents and learn more about totally irrelevant, off-topic things. I am a stone terror at Trivial Pursuit; a boundless source of completely useless information!.......8>)

Ha! Another thing we have in common! I dropped out of school in the 10th grade (age 15) and went on to college. Studied commercial art for half a semester, decided it was not for me, and quit that too.

Of course, I got a GED and went back to college about 4 years ago. Attended classes for 3 semesters and earned 50 credits towards an education degree (anyone care to do the math there?) while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I had scholarships out the wazoo. I then became ill and had to quit because I couldn't attend class.

Now I read, a lot, work at Wal-Mart, and look forward to the time when I can complete my degree. It most likely will not be in education.

I sometimes feel like I am stuffed with useless information too. It makes my head hurt...

And I thought it was just me.........;)

Here are some odd things about me:

1:) I own over 1000 music CDs and they are in alphabetical and chronological order. If I buy a musicians cd and his last name starts with an "A" I have to rearrange them all.

2:) I hate it when someone gets peanut butter in the jelly jar. I can eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches but not when the stuff is premixed.

3:) I hate it when the toilet paper roll is put on the roll holder backwards.

4:) All coat hangers must be hooked over the rod the same direction and the clothes must have the front of the shirts facing the same direction.

I cry at Disney movies. I don't cry in normal movies, just disney feature-length animations. I was on an international plane flight once, and cried in the first 5 minutes of Disney's Tarzan.

(Edit to correct spelling mistakes.)
(Edit 2 to correct punctuation error.)
(Edit 3 to correct odd grammar.)
(Edit 4 to fix spelling in new grammar.)
(Edit 5 to change it back the way it was because it sounded better.)
(Edit 6 to fix up sequential numbering of edits.)
(Edit 7 to say I'm not anal at all.)

Google or Yahoo : "Bazookey" or "Melon Musket" to see video on BBQTV. There is a 3 minute interview about the machine, then we launch a few melons.
If you Google "junkyardwarsonline" then "guided missiles" there are pics and an interview about that adventure in England with some of my friends launching pumpkins with human powered machines.
The "Spooky Bazookey" and the "Melon Molequlizer" cannons were built to compete in the World Championship Punkin Chunkin in Y2K. Here is the results link for 2001 : 2001 Punkin Chunkin Stats

Same with me!
I also can't stand the sound of someone biting into a carrot or unwrapping a sweet.
All my cup handles face the same way in the cupboard.
All my coat hanger hooks hang in the same direction.
I've never drunk coffee in my life, never even tried it once.
Except for when I'm ill, my body temperature is never over 34.5°C (no, I'm not an alien. Just a little odd ;-D

I think it is analysis or analyst not 'anal'. The 'anal' is pretty smelly thing.

Ps:

a·nal /ˈeɪnl/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[eyn-l] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–adjective
1. of, pertaining to, involving, or near the anus.
2. Psychoanalysis.
a. of or pertaining to the second stage of psychosexual development, during which gratification is derived from the retention or expulsion of feces.
b. of or pertaining to an anal character.
c. of or pertaining to gratification derived from stimulation of the anus.

I love king crab, snow crab and blue claw crab... but, I won't eat lobster.

I have to have sour cream and onion chips in my tuna salad.

I too cannot wear watches with batteries, they die within hours. So, I switched to old fashioned wind ups because I feel naked without a watch.

I only wear black bras.

I can recognize someone I met once, 20 years ago, but won't remember your name until we've met at least 10 or more times.

I can read novels over and over and always find something new in them, but won't watch a movie more than once.
